CRAIG DUBOIS, M.D.

Dr. DuBois completed his medical training at the University of Iowa College of Medicine after receiving an undergraduate degree at Grinnell College in Iowa. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. He currently has a pain management practice in Austin, Texas.

In addition to his work as a physician, Dr. DuBois is an avid computer user, programmer, and amateur sculptor. His awareness of the marked increase in computer-related repetitive stress injuries, combined with his scientific background and artist’s eye for form, resulted in the PowerPaw’s completely novel approach to the problem of supporting the upper extremities while allowing normal freedom of movement when using a computer or other tools.

Statement from Our Physicians

We have specifically made it our policy that our patients shall benefit from being evaluated by physicians with years of experience and specialty training in the fields of Neurology and Physical Medicine. We feel this is what patients deserve and what is necessary to allow full consideration of the complexities of diagnosis and treatment of most patients' pain problems.

We use our training and skills in physical examination, as well as Electrodiagnostic and neuroimaging testing to assess patients from all perspectives. Injections and interventional modalities are used to supplement and extend the diagnostic and therapeutic endeavors, and are not done without forethought and planning.

Each patient's input and circumstances are considered, as they are an integral part of planning and design of their treatment algorithm. Patients are encouraged to take very active control of their treatment, life circumstances and activities that affect their pain.
